fun times in our back yard

...putting out an invite for whoever wants to come by after a church gathering for a BBQ is interesting... being Labour Day week-end we figured it would be an intimate crowd (the week before, our church hosted a BBQ for over 300+, so we hoped for alot less people in our back yard!!!!)

...we had a great time, just hanging out, with over 30 hanging out for 4-5 hours. It's always interesting to see if people connect and create conversation, especially with several being newer to Westside over the last year, and some who've been around for longer.

...my problem in these environments is figuring out what to do on a given moment: it's my house, so I've got do something; but then there's all these people I want to sit with and hear their stories; which one's 1st. So tough!!

All in all it was a great day - some great conversations, some great new connections made among people, and some great food that everyone brought along.
