power of kindness

This week our church is hosting a team from Niagra Falls who is serving in our community all week. We decided to have them help out a near by community co-op just east of us. Their 1st 2 days were spent planting gardens that would bring some joy to some of the aparments. They also involved lots of the kids in their project. When I passed by the 1st day to hang out or help I met an older lady in one of the aparments who shared her complete surprize at a group of people who would freely give their time to make her neighborhood look and feel better.
