For all who want to hear one man's honest journey in life, as he believed in, followed, and did his best to live the way of Jesus, read GOD AND I, by Lewis Smedes.
Just finished it recently and loved his honesty, creative writing, metaphors, and the privilege of being able to see his life transparently (as much as a book can reflect).
If you live near by, you can borrow it.
