I'll be heading down to a conference this week, Exponential.
I'll be there with about 40 canadian leaders from the association of churches I'm a part of. This is a great part of our church association. They believe very much in leadership development and church planting that they spend the money to continue fueling the passion for it.
If I bring my laptop to through out the day, I'll blog often about the learning and experience... so check back starting Tuesday for some info.
I'm driving down (did I mention it's in Florida).
The reason for the drive is that I'm bringing my whole family and taking 3-4 days post-conference for a short week-end vacation. My wife and kids are pretty excited. None of them have been to Florida. The road trip will be fun too (I think). On the way down we hope to stop in Washington and spend a day there. We'll probably connect with National Community Church on the Sunday. I'm looking forward to that. They meet in a theater in National Union Station!
I'll miss my church while I'm gone. We're starting a great series this Sunday that will radically help people with finances. Financial Expert Dave Ramsey will be the speaker on the big screen.
