15 Hours

Google told me it was 12.5. I was hopeful. But Washington to Orlando was 15 hours including some short stops.

I really don't remember the road from when our family did this trip 20 years ago.

Driving it my self was fun - I loved looking around while driving.

It rained on and off, but it was strange - it wasn't a rain that really stuck on the car - seemed to come off easy, and the roads didn't feel much different so it didn't slow me down.

MY KIDS? They are champs!!!!!

We stopped once for lunch, the rest were fast stretching (bathroom) stops - they got out of their seat 3-4 times total the whole way. No complaints. I'm impressed. However, my daughter didn't fully understand why when we arrived in Florida we still had 3 hours to get to Orlando.

I'm in Orlando now, heading for bed so I can have a brain ready for a long day in a conference (mainly learning), connecting, and an evening meeting.
