...had a great time hanging out with my kids this afternoon as they rode their bikes around the block... plus some fun eating time in my kitchen... and not to mention a real fun new game someone lent us for play station (snow boarding)
...I studied in a cafe this afternoon, and felt really good being there, not sure why; the coffee and scone were good too.
...I speak every week-end (almost, maybe 40-45x/year, and I do love it), so I don't really have much creative time b/w messages or series... sometimes I feel drained, like I know what I want to say, but it's not coming out... some prayer would help (on my end too); we have a great series coming up after Easter where I'm not speaking, so that might help.
...I'm speaking on Matthew 21:33-46 tomorrow AM... I'm amazed that God had so much love for the world that even though Israel wasn't fulfilling it's vocation of being his light in the world, that God would go through all the trouble to reconstitute a new nation/people, one that includes both Jew and non-Jew, to fulfill his purposes... and that would include me... and I get to be part of God's really cool plan to redeem the world... WOW.
