10 years... wow

10 years ago today I was getting ready to meet Franca at the altar and commit the rest of my life to her.

I've loved the last 10 years.

Franca is:

peaceful
simple
loving
caring
beautiful
a servant
content with life
an amazing mom
a great cook
good with people
organized
disciplined
attractive

I got to spend the last 10 years with her!

Franca, I hope the next years will be even better. I don't think you have much changing to do... I on the other hand, hope to increase in:

prioritizing time for you
showing you I love you
serving you
sitting with you after the kids go to bed just to be with you
getting my work done so we can be spontaneous on Friday night or Saturday morning
talking with you
looking at you
listening to you
understanding you
get to a sun-resort one day soon
serve with you
raise our kids together
maybe one day learn how to dance so we can try that together (HA)
get you flowers on UNofficial days
take you out for breakfast... just b/c you're hungry

A good woman is hard to find,
and worth far more than diamonds.
Her husband trusts her without reserve,

for her family and organizing her day.

is in no hurry to call it quits for the day.
She's skilled in the crafts of home and hearth,
diligent in homemaking.
She's quick to assist anyone in need,
reaches out to help the poor.
She doesn't worry about her family when it snows;
their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear.
She makes her own clothing,
and dresses in colorful linens and silks.

Her clothes are well-made and elegant,
and she always faces tomorrow with a smile.
When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say,
and she always says it kindly.
She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,
and keeps them all busy and productive.
Her children respect and bless her;
her husband joins in with words of praise:

"Many women have done wonderful things,
but you've outclassed them all!"

Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
The woman to be admired and praised
is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.
Give her everything she deserves!
Festoon her life with praises!
