Does it ever occur to you how amazing the people in your life are?
My wife has always been amazing... but this week-end she went away on a trip, she'll be back in 4 days. I had asked her to help me out with the kids clothes, just b/c I sometimes mess up what goes with what. I was expecting some advice with the right pants and sweater. Not so... I freaked, she actually made 5 sets of clothes for them while she was gone. I couldn't believe it. All that, and she was preparing to leave.
Besides that, being with the kids today I tried to be her - b/c she's an amazing anchor in their day to day stuff. My goal - keep it together, keep the stress out (for them). I think I did ok: they were in bed, with no stress by 7:40PM - with dinner, homework, a walk, their favorite show, a story and prayer all done. She's my model (in more ways than one.)
Besides that... she's just great in lots of other ways.
