slip and slide

My daughter came to me this morning wanting me to help get her slippery socks on (you do know there are 2 kinds of socks - ones that slip and ones that don't - get with it)
(Her brother and cousin were sliding on the living room and she wanted in)

"Julia, I don't want you to slip and slide, you might get hurt.
"Daddy, I'm not gonna slip, I'm just gonna slide."
