Technology's Negative Side

My wife recently went through close to 3000 pictures that I've taken with my digital camera in the last 18 months since I got it. This technology is nuts. You take infinite amounts of pictures and never develop them! So today I developed 761 pictures (yes, disgusting) that my wife has been dying to get into albums and scrapbooks. I know what you're thinking, procrastination. I even had pictures from 2002 from an older video camera that took stills. I'm not a model to follow in this area.
It just goes to show you how technology doesn't always add more meaning to your life just because it's better or faster. It's a tool like anything else. And unlike some other tools, it's best features (i.e. storage, the ability to erase or not develop, etc.) can often become a negative factor - a crazy lesson I learned today when I poured out 150$ on 2 years worth of pictures I never developed.

P.S. the B/W pic is from the top of Mount Tremblant last summer (2005) and the beautiful baby's but on the swing is my daughter at a park in our neighborhood (as you can see I'm not ready to show my family's faces online yet... in time... but she's gorgeous, even from the back).
