Simply put, Miller woke up one morning and thought, LOVE YOUR READER. He immediately started to connect his writing to his readers. His work to his recipients. His vision to those who get impacted.
Why not apply this to the other important things in our life.
Love your Church - don't just lead it or teach itLove your __________
Love your Kids - don't just parent them
Love your Wife - don't just do stuff for her
Love the Kids in that ministry - don't just organize volunteers and teach them
Love your Students - don't just pass on information
Love your Cars - don't just fix them (if you're a mechanic, not idolizing your car)
Love your Customers - don't just sell them stuff
... and to this can be added - don't just make coffee for them, print their flyers, produce their demands, etc.
I bet it would change what you do and how you do it.
What is it in what you do where you need to build a connection with the recipient, not merely the task?
