I'm noticing ADS a little more these days (see my last post)
Today's Montreal Gazette (page A10) has a Videotron.com ad with the new Nexus One HTC phone with this line attached:
"The Power to make everyone Jealous"
There's motive for you. A really great reason to buy something - not b/c it's good or useful or even nice. Instead, let's buy it so my friends will pay more attention to me, even worse, so I can make them JEALOUS.
