Things that have caught my eye today:
Barna on Health Care. More than that, he's preaching the Jesus model of servanthood and compassion. Even if you're not American or not involved in the health care discussion, these quotes will stir you.
Church Plant in Las Vegas. This inspires me. Part of me, but not all of me yet (HA) has wanted to see a church planted downtown Montreal to reach those who clearly discover their all night party, sexcursion, or trial at fulfillment is not working (just like it didn't the week before). This doesn't have to be downtown, there's people all around us that need the church to be present in their lives as God's living and local presence.
Westside's new Sunday series is on THIS week-end. Family Matters is so key to each of us being light to the people closest to us, but also light to those around us. It's a matter of health - emotionally, spiritually, relationally. (this caught my eye, b/c though it was posted yesterday, I saw it on my google reader again today!)
