I'm all for hope (as I made this disclaimer in a previous post), but here's some realistic thinking from the former Bank of Canada governor, David Dogde, in the globe and mail.

As a friend of mine who leads a company told me last week as we discussed the current financial reality: you can only inspire people with reality, otherwise they will realize you lied to them and will never move forward.
So, I'm hopeful, I'm encouraged, I'm thankful. But I want to know reality so I can deal with it.
