I'm at the Leadership Summit again this year. A great day together with some leaders and volunteers from my church.
Bill Hybels walked through a wise decision making process and then advised leaders to put their general principles into short axioms/sayings so they can make decisions based on principles.
Gary Haugen from IJM.org wrecked us with a serious call to fight injustice.
- injustice in the bible is freeing people who's been abused by other's power
- prayer grows when you're doing something you can't possibly accomplish on your own
- leadership is really about being involved in what God wants done - not our own stuff
