Oil and the future of community

This article in the Washington Post is the 1st insight I've heard about what to really do about how the cost of Oil will affect our lives.

One of the most interesting things noted is that it will likely force us to do things closer to home - imagine that, build community in close proximity. Everything from eating, entertainment, relationships, even farming our own food - or for the agriculturally handicapped like myself, buy from local farmers.

One blogger has already been asking what this means for churches.

A pretty important discussion. Thoughts?
