velvit covered bricks, a leadership read

I haven't read John Maxwell in a long time, but this short article was an interesting read on leadership, I think a good balance in character that a leaders need. I know I do. And I can imagine the trust people have in leader that Maxwell describes here.

I never read that quote in the article I highlighted, and then went back to the link to discover the book review on Godin's book.
That is a powerful statement, especially in the area of work or a project.
