Some in our church community gather for community prayer monthly (1st Wednesday).
Here are some of the prayers for Westside and beyond that came out of last week's prayer time:
- focus and perseverance for a young church that is growing and building roots
- thankful for new faces in our community the last few months
- continually going deeper with the relationships we have within Westside
(the need and effort to make time and space for this to happen came up too)
- increasing grace for those within our community, and those searching for God
- for key leaders at Westside
- for the consistency to live what we say
- to be a bolder witness for Christ in our world
- new space that will help Westside 1. interact with our community more, and 2. spend less energy on set-up and space management
Regardless of the church community you're in, consider the importance of gathering to pray for guidance, transformation, and open doors to be God's living and local presence wherever you are.
