When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table. Jesus said, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

Luke 22:14-16

Reflecting on this earlier this morning, I couldn't help sense the love in Jesus' intention to BE WITH his disciples before his time of suffering came. To BE IN COMMUNITY.
What a picture of Jesus' love for his disciples, his concern for them, his longing to have a meal with them again one day when God's Kingdom is fully present.

I have a Savior who loves to be with me in the company of other Christ-followers!
