This Sunday we start a new series - Under Construction. The initial thoughts started back in the summer and was initially intended to be more about spiritual formation. But since Westside has been under a bit of a reformation as of late - a new direction sparked - or a better understanding of what we needed to walk through as a community. So the series will underline the idea that we - the church - our God's work in progress. We'll move from the BIG picture (the project), and break things down from week to week, focusing (for some shifting) the understanding of ourselves as a missional community rather then a come and see (or show up) community.Most of the series will come out of 1 Peter 1-2 (especially 2:1-10) and John 17. So if you're from Westside and you want to get into the text, go ahead.
I welcome the dialogue from week to week.
